Perhaps its time the UK cannabis community joined forces in bringing a court case against the government? Reclassifying cannabis is going to have only one effect in the war against drugs - we should already be able to forecast the amount of people convicted for cannabis offences in the first 12 months, and how many of these will go to prison. Under the circumstances doesn't that make reclassification a big (read: expensive) waste of time?

Saving 16 year old kids from brain damage has nothing at all to do with this case does it? Proof that the war against drugs is actually a war against drug users, and in this instance the £70 pound fine given to this 67 year old OAP, amounts to nothing more than a covert tax levy. The only people this man has harmed, is the pharmaceutical industry.
